From 1st January 2026, the company has obtained ‘Green Certificate’, which certifies that it uses 100% green energy from renewable sources.
This great achievement represents a concrete and long-term commitment to environmental issues, in compliance with the European and International goals for the energy transition, also in a competitive market point of view.
However, Leonix Fasteners is already known for its culture of quality and sustainability, as demonstrated by the installation of a photovoltaic system at its production facilities and the obtainment of ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 certifications.

LEONIX FASTENERS SRL: THE NEW INVESTORS

In the course of 2023, the company's founders made the strategic decision to seek an equity partner to maximise the company's future prospects, which resulted in a partnership with Leo1X Srl, a Milan-based family office of American and Italian investors with an extensive expertise in manufacturing and distribution industries. The partnership was announced in October 2023.

Leo1X was founded by four highly experienced partners - Galeazzo Scarampi, Nicolò Vergani, Giuseppe Grimaldi, and Federico Foscale – with the goal of investing in solid, profitable niche middle market businesses in Italy and grow them through acquisitions, operational and commercial improvements as well as significant capital investments.

The primary objective is to bolster Leonix’s growth trajectory providing the management team with all necessary resources to expand the company's geographical footprint, diversify its product range, venture into new target markets, and actively seeking complementary acquisitions.

The new investors and board members are fully committed to nurture the success of both the company and its employees, ensuring a seamless continuation of the current team and corporate culture with enhanced financial and operating support.

The Cattinori family will remain to lead the company’s next exciting phase. The unchanged Leonix team will therefore drive the company’s growth, leveraging the experience and the network of accomplished industry professionals that each member of Leo1X has developed over the years.

SECOND OPERATIONS

LEONIX FASTENERS S.R.L. IS A LEADING COMPANY SPECIALIZED IN SECOND OPERATIONS OF SCREWS FOR VARIOUS MECHANICAL APPLICATIONS

We specialize in the production of stainless-steel and special steel fastening systems, including carbon steel, starting from cold formed semi-finished products. Based in Chiuduno, in the Province of Bergamo, we are a reference point in Europe for companies requiring second operations on screws with diameters ranging from 4 to 20.

Our many years of experience enable us to guarantee precise, safe, and reliable mechanical operations over time. The second operations of screws require manual skill and expertise, especially when producing customized screws for specific applications.

Leonix constantly explores new opportunities, and in response to market dynamics and customer demands, we have focused on improving our range of precision-machined screws. In September 2023, we acquired an automatic turning lathe.

The combination of cold forming and machining offers a cost-effective alternative to the turning process from bars on multi-spindle lathes, especially as volumes increase, providing a more replicable product with excellent mechanical properties at a lower cost.

This strategic decision is expected to significantly enhance the performance of the production department, improving operational efficiency and enabling the company to more effectively meet evolving customer requirements.
